Project Success Roadmap & Partnership Terms
This outlines our professional standards and the terms of our partnership. By signing your project proposal and providing the initial Activation payment, you are formally agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
1. Simple Payment Milestones
We work in clear stages to keep the project moving forward:
-
10% Activation: This secures your spot in our calendar and officially starts the project.
-
45% Engineering Phase: Due before we begin the main design and technical build.
-
45% Launch & Handover: Cleared once you have approved the final design and we are ready to go live.
Flexible Financing:
Interest-free payments are available via Klarna (up to £2,500 over 3 months) or Clearpay (up to £1,000 over 2 months).
-
Note: If financing, the balance is settled at the start of the build. If you provide a 50% deposit upfront, you may finance the remaining balance at the launch stage.
2. Setting Realistic Expectations
We build professional foundations, not "magic fixes." It is important to understand the role of the website:
-
The Goal: We are building a professional "home" for your business—a platform that builds immediate trust and makes it easier for visitors to choose your services.
-
The Reality: A website is a tool for credibility and conversion; it does not automatically generate leads. It is a piece of your marketing puzzle that allows your SEO, ads, and reputation to work more effectively.
-
Seasonal Timing: Every industry experiences natural cycles of demand. Strategic planning ensures your business is professionally presented and indexed ahead of your busier periods, so you are ready whenever demand increases.
3. Variables & Financial Outcomes
Every business operates in a unique environment with different levels of competition and social proof.
-
Individual Outcomes: Because factors like local competition, service demand, and seasonality are outside of our control, we do not guarantee specific financial returns, lead volumes, or search rankings at the conclusion of the project.
-
Our Commitment: We promise to apply our best strategies and dedication to give your business a solid professional edge within your specific market.
-
Strategic Advice: We will often suggest areas where we feel things can be improved, but the final business results depend on how these tools are used alongside your own offerings.
4. Visibility & Technical Indexing
Getting found on Google involves a "settling" period for any new or updated website. It is helpful to understand how this timing works:
-
The Indexing Period: Google typically takes 30–90 days to fully recognise and index a new site structure. This is a technical process handled by Google that cannot be rushed, which is why building ahead of your peak season is beneficial.
-
Ongoing Visibility: While we ensure the technical foundation of your site is correct, Google also looks for "trust signals" to rank a business. Gathering customer reviews and keeping your Google Business Profile active are the most effective ways for you to support the site's visibility once it is live.
5. Visuals & The Feedback Loop
We use a streamlined process to keep you informed without needing long meetings:
-
Video Updates: We send progress reviews via video walkthrough (Loom) so you can review them at your convenience.
-
Page-by-Page Progress: We develop accurate mock-ups based on your inspiration, progressing through the site page-by-page to ensure you love the direction before we move forward.
-
Final Sign-off: Sign-off occurs once you have reviewed the final wording, content, and visuals. Once you give the final "Yes," the design is considered complete.
6. Ownership & Technical Costs
We believe in total transparency regarding your digital assets:
-
Total Ownership: Upon final payment, you own the website design, the domain name, and all associated advertising or analytics accounts.
-
Third-Party Costs: Ongoing costs like Wix hosting and domain renewals are paid by you directly to the providers.
-
Access: We simply require administrative access to handle the setup and engineering on your behalf.
7. Our Design Guarantee
We stand behind our work. Because we check in with you at every stage, you will know exactly what to expect. In the unlikely event you are not satisfied with the final look, we will refine it at our own expense and no additional cost to you until you are happy—provided the adjustments remain within the original project scope and are requested before final sign-off. Refinements include adjustments to the design, layout, and content we agreed upon at the start, rather than adding new pages or features outside the original plan.
8. Project Momentum & Dormancy
To protect our production schedule, projects require active momentum. If a project stalls for more than 30 days due to delayed feedback or content, it will be marked as "Dormant." To resume a dormant project, a re-activation step may be required to secure a new production slot.
9. Handover & Ongoing Support
-
30-Day Success Window: We provide 30 days of support starting from the day your site goes live to fix any minor bugs or technical issues for free.
-
Personalised Training: At handover, we provide a custom video tutorial so you can handle small text or photo updates yourself.
-
Future Growth: Any major structural changes or new features requested after the 30-day window can be handled at an agreed rate or via a monthly support plan.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By signing your project proposal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. This agreement ensures that our expectations are aligned and that we are both committed to the successful delivery of your project.
